You’ve probably heard a lot about social media lately. From the Hoosier Hospitality Conference and last week’s Indianapolis Cultural Tourism Conference to right here on the Tourism Tech Corner, people have been talking about the importance of social media as a part of your marketing and PR plan. There are some DMOs in Indiana who know exactly what to do and are doing a great job of integrating social media into their marketing mix, but there are many who know they should get involved in social media, but simply don’t know where to start. That’s where theĀ Tourism Tech Corner comes in.
We’re getting ready to launch a series of posts called “Social Media: Get It Done“. Throughout this series, we’ll go through, in detail, not only how to utilize these social media utilities once you’re using them, but also how to gets started using each. We’ll show you how to create your accounts and share some best practices about how to use social media to Get It Done.
